About Me

During my time as Education Director with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, I create dozens of education programs. My favorite? Stories with inspiring classical music in kid-sized bites. And Musically Ever After Publications was born. Children’s books and family presentations where music is a trusted friend and companion to our protagonists.

Today I live in Kansas City with my husband Drew (see his bio below!). I lead the Friends of Chamber Music as Acting Executive Director and spend my spare time writing and dreaming up new children’s books and music presentations.

About Candace

I’m an actor and artist based in Orlando, FL. After years of performing on stages across the country (inclusive of Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando, and narrator of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra’s Young People’s Concerts), I’m tickled pink to bring my silly characterization and playful spirit to the page.

I began illustrating children’s tales for orchestral family concerts in 2017 and now works as a freelance designer who specializes in portraits, home illustrations, logos, social media graphics, and children’s book illustrations. I am thrilled to be on this team with the ever-talented Leia and Drew!

About Drew

I am a soon-to-be classroom music teacher, bassoonist, composer, arranger, and music-obsessed! Leia and I have worked together for years creating amazing children’s stories. She affectionately calls me her music man because I love finding (or creating) the perfect piece of music for the occasion.

I am always on the lookout for new music and new avenues for learning and would love to talk to you about finding the best soundtrack for your story!
